This year, for the 10th time, the “Advanced GCP Course, ISO 14155:2020; Medical Devices and Selected Chapters of Good Clinical Practice in Clinical Pharmacology Research” postgraduate course was organized by the Institute of Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy of Semmelweis University on 16-17 November. Over a decade, hundreds of healthcare and pharmaceutical professionals have learned the rules of good clinical practice and modern drug and medical device development through lectures by renowned national experts. The current Good Clinical Practice (GCP) professional guideline is an ethical and scientific quality standard for human clinical trials, which investigators are required to master and to have a certificate of successful completion of the course. During our two-day course, participants had the opportunity to learn about the latest professional guidelines and developments in a face-to-face interactive format. Our institute, the longest in the country – for more than three decades – has been organising GCP courses for clinical trial professionals every year. Our next intermediate GCP course will be held online in April 2024. Good Clinical Practice.
