Prof. Peter Ferdinandy, the head of our department has received the “Bohuslav Ostadal Award for Excellence in Cardiovascular Sciences” at the 4th European Section Meeting in Pécs (September 28-30, 2017.).
The prestigious award, consisting of a plaque and cash was given by the President of IACS North American Section, Prof. Grant Pierce and the Founder Executive Director, Prof. Naranjan Dhalla, at a special ceremony.
