We would like to present the history and main stages of its medical history in the light of literary data from Semmelweis to the present day.
2. Milestones of surgical bleeding control. Brief description: Developments in haemostasis methods and techniques have also contributed to the intra- and postoperative mortality decrease in the development of surgery. War wounds and the experience gained during their care, the need for increasingly complex surgical interventions, and the development of technical and biological co-sciences also played a role in this. From a surgical point of view, we want to study the evolution of today’s haemostasis methods.
