The András Pető Faculty of Semmelweis University was delighted to host Andrea Bordás, a guest lecturer from Partium Christian University, within the framework of an Erasmus+ mobility project. Andrea visited the faculty from April 14th to 20th, 2024, sharing her expertise with our students on two key topics: dramapedagogy and resilience development, and how these concepts can be integrated into conductive pedagogy.
During the lectures she explored the exciting world of dramapedagogy, the use of theatrical techniques and storytelling in education. This approach can be a powerful tool in conductive education, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and communication skills in students. Her sessions on resilience development likely equipped students with valuable strategies for building emotional strength and coping with challenges – crucial aspects for anyone, particularly those pursuing careers in healthcare fields.
By incorporating dramapedagogy and resilience-building techniques into conductive pedagogy, educators can create a more engaging and supportive learning environment for their students. This project provided a fantastic opportunity for our students to gain new information and practical knowledge from a renowned expert.
It was a great pleasure and honor to have Andrea Bordás at the András Pető Faculty. Her insightful lectures and expertise undoubtedly enriched the learning experience of our students, preparing them to become well-rounded and effective educators in the field of conductive education.
