It was a great honour for the colleagues of the András Pető Faculty to be invited to the Private Petö Grund- und Mittelschule in Oberaudorf, Germany, for its 10th anniversary celebration.

It is very important for the András Pető Faculty to maintain close and good relations with conductive pedagogical institutions in other countries of the world, because only together we can fight for the cause! This is why it was a great pleasure for us to be invited to the 10th anniversary, where the Faculty was represented by Dr. Zsófia Kállay – lecturer of the Conductive Pedagogical Institute and Szabolcs Tiger, Dean’s representative for international affairs.

During the visit, our colleagues observed adaptive archery led by Zsuzsanna Hadházy, which could be a new direction for people with disabilities who love sports.

Later in the ceremony, Dr. Zsófia Kállay welcomed the guests and in her speech recalled András Pető and his work, without whom neither the András Pető Faculty nor the Pető School would exist today. The great professor’s legacy now connects many professionals, regardless of language, nationality or geographical location.

The second day of the event was followed by scientific lectures and workshops where the current results and developments of conductive pedagogy were discussed in several sessions.
The event ended with a joint creative project, where the school’s motto, “Hier und Jetzt”, was decorated by the invited participants.
