Call for applications to organize
the 12th World Congress on Conductive Education

 

The 11th World Congress on Conductive Education took place in Budapest in November, 2022. Similar to previous Congresses, it is the endeavor of the Executive Committee to make the final decision regarding the organization of the subsequent, 12th World Congress on this occasion.

The Executive Committee of the International Pető Association is pleased to invite organizations to submit applications to host the 12th World Congress on Conductive Education with the co-ordination of International Pető Association. Applications should include all essential details of the applicant and of the possible partner organization(s).

It is desirable for applicants

1. To ensure that the 12th World Congress on Conductive Education is succeeded by the 11th Congress in about two-three years’ time (approximately in 2026-2027).
2. The Congress should be organized in hybrid way to make sure participants not being able to attend in person could join online.
3. To take account of national and international as well as major religious customs and holidays when setting the date more closely.
4. To offer alternatives and easy travel access when specifying the venue.
5. To guarantee accessibility and the opportunity to work for all participants (including those using special aids and appliances).
6. To offer a wide range of accommodation possibilities.
7. To provide acceptable organisational and financial guarantees and sponsors.
8. To offer attractive social events.
9. To involve the Board of the International Pető Association in strategic discussions and decisions, in scientific planning, and collaborate in the different committees
10. To use the experiences and suggestions of the International Pető Association and organizers of the previous World Congresses.
11. The organizer considers the personal participation of the members of the International Pető Association selected by the management (travel expenses, accommodation, board) to a pre-agreed extent.
12. Preference will be given to the applicant who involves the most significant higher education institutions of the region in the organization of the congress in order to promote conductive education and conductor training.

The 12th World Congress should be characterized

• By a great number of participants
• By the participation of young professionals and trainees and related professions
• In proportion to summaries, cross-cultural CE studies, own research, international grants and scholarships
• By the collection and introduction of similar experiences and profile consequences in an abstract

• Mailing list of possible participants
• Advice concerning the invitation of plenary speakers
• Setting the topics
• Invitation of the scientific committee and coordination of their work
• Setting up the scientific program
• Organisation of personal consultations with CE professionals
• Fulfilling special professional requests other than official congress program

Along with the International Pető Association, the European Conductive Association (ECA) believes that the upcoming World Congress brings a huge amount of political and social awareness and recognition – in particular for the legalization of the conductor profession. Moreover the presentations of scientific research, good practices, exchange between professionals and CE content in general are key to our mutual success and aiming our common goals.

Therefore the European Conductive Association as a strategic partner of IPA offers the following support for the organizer of the next WCCE:

• Setting the topics
• Conveyance of speakers in medicine, pedagogy
• Advice concerning the invitation of plenary speakers
• Providing contacts of our international network
• Advice and expertise on the hosting and organization of a world congress
• Helping with promotion via ECA channels (social media, ECA homepage mailing list, conductme.com)
