Semmelweis University handles its international relations with high priority and takes a number of steps to develop and expand its international collaborative network. The Directorate for International Relations fosters the university’s existing international relations through mobility programmes, international cooperation, tailor-made short programs and various joint international projects, and builds new ones in order to increase its international visibility and strengthen its leading role.
The University is member of a number of international professional and academic organizations and has an extensive international network spanning five continents, including around 100 universities in the Erasmus+ network and has ties with other 40 universities in the form of bilateral agreements.
