The aim of the Summer Practice of Dental Assistance is to familiarize students with the equipment and instruments used in dental treatment, as well as the dental materials most commonly applied in clinical practice. The course also introduces students to the workflow of patient care. Furthermore, gaining an understanding of patient care from the dental assistant’s perspective is essential for their subsequent clinical training. During the practice, students learn the fundamental principles of professional communication and conduct with both dental assistants and patients.
