Following the renovation of the Department’s teaching classroom in 2025, the facility was equipped with 13 Flexion Advanced Sensor Unit operating microscopes. As a result, it now serves as the practical training venue for the newly introduced course „Introduction to Microscopic Dentistry”.
The new equipment enables students to practice clinical procedures that benefit from magnification, including cavity preparation and access cavity preparation. A key objective of the course is to develop proficiency in the correct adjustment, ergonomic use, and efficient handling of the operating microscope in clinical practice.
