Our teaching laboratory, completed in 2024, is located on the ground floor of the Educational Centre, in the area formerly occupied by the Faculty Library. The new facility accommodates up to 64 students and, in collaboration with our Department, serves as the venue for the practical teaching of the courses General Dental Preclinical Practice and Odontotechnology and Prosthodontic Preclinical.
Each student workstation is equipped with a dental unit, a phantom patient, a comprehensive set of dental instruments, and dental laboratory equipment. Teaching is further enhanced by modern digital technology, allowing students to follow lectures and demonstration videos on individual display screens at their workstations.
The department is also equipped with the Dental Teacher system, which enables students to scan their practical work and objectively evaluate their performance by comparing it with predefined reference standards.
