Tasks and Competences

The Committee acts in the first instance in the study affairs of students. Its competences are typically covered by the following matters:

  • granting a reduced study program,
  • declaring the started semester as a passive semester subsequently,
  • allowing an examination in periods outside the examination period in particularly justified cases,
  • processing equity requests,
  • transfer between departments, specializations or faculties, institutions,
  • other study matters,
  • competences specified in other legislation within university and faculty regulations,
  • making a proposal for the determination of the order of the specialization of the faculty,
  • proposing measures, innovations and control procedures for learning processes.

Any student and lecturer may request a decision of the Committee through the Student Representation or the head of the educational organizational unit if they propose that a matter has not been handled in accordance with the Faculty Rules of Procedure.
