The main research area of interest is the investigation of prognostic and predictive factors in different types of cancer disease; mainly in CRC, breast tumours, spinal cord metastasis and haematological diseases.
Recently there is a new direction of research in the border area of ophthalmology and oncology treatments.
Another research project is the investigation of circulating cancer stem cells.
