The Pediatrics Research Group consists of 11 third-year and 9 fourth-year students, supported by 3 scientific-methodological and 20 clinical supervisors. The group conducts research across a wide spectrum of current pediatric topics, including IBD, conductive education, placental and umbilical cord pathologies, oncotherapy for brain tumors, infectious diseases, oncology and hematology, acute pancreatitis, IVH, physiotherapy, cystic fibrosis, COVID-19, pediatric gastroenterology, neonatology, cerebral palsy, forensic radiology, and emergency pediatric care for long COVID syndrome.
Most students participate in meta-analyses, while others work on registry analyses, clinical trial protocols, and ongoing clinical trials. This multidisciplinary structure fosters collaboration and supports research addressing the most critical issues in child healthcare.
