Tasks and Competence of the Quality Control and Evaluation Board

The purpose and responsibility of the board is to support the operation of the EDT, which is reflected in the following activities:

• Reviewing the scientific classification of students and supervisors based on the recommendation of the Doctoral School;
• Evaluating scientific performance related to obtaining a degree;
• Reviewing/appointing (based on recommendations) the composition of the examination, comprehensive exam, and defense committees;
• Quality control covering all activities of the University Doctoral School;
• Preparing decisions regarding requests for the recognition of PhD diplomas;
• Reviewing new training program proposals from the divisions of the Doctoral School;
• Issuing an opinion on whether the submitted dissertation topic complies with the accreditation of the program responsible for the training.
