The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) is situated in Bhubaneshwar, the capital of Odisha, and is known as a leading beacon of research and innovation in India. KIIT University has the pleasure to invite and accommodate distinguished professors from Semmelweis University to participate in its Visiting Professorship Program.
The aim of this program is to foster international collaboration and knowledge exchange in a wide range of areas, such as Biotechnology, Public Health, Medical Science.

Duration of Visit
Visiting Professors have the flexibility to stay for a period of 1 to 2 weeks; choosing a time frame between November 2025 and March 2026.
Support Provided
KIIT University offers comprehensive support to Visiting Professors, including:
- Economy class airfare
- Accommodation in the University International Guest House and meals
- Guided tours to tourist attractions such as Chilka Lake, Konark, Dhauli, Khandagiri, and Puri
Expectations from Visiting Professors
- Conduct special theory/practical classes for B.Tech and M.Tech students in their area of expertise (1-2 h per day)
- Mentor doctoral students and faculty members in research
- Collaborate with KIIT University’s faculties and students on innovation and research projects Utilize research labs and the KIIT Technology Business Incubator (KIIT-TBI) for collaborative work
- Develop joint research proposals for potential funding support from bilateral programs
Eligibility criteria
Academic Credentials: Applicants should hold a Ph.D. or equivalent qualification in their respective field(s) of expertise.
- Teaching and Research Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with a strong track record of teaching and research accomplishments.
- Communication Skills: Proficiency in English is essential.
- Collaborative Attitude: Applicants should demonstrate a willingness to collaborate with KIIT University faculty and students.
