Guillermo Vázquez Moreno, Cuban ambassador visited Semmelweis University and had a meeting with Dr. Marcel Pop, Director of International Relations to discuss the details of the upcoming Cuban visit as part of the university delegation’s Latin American tour, led by the Rector of Semmelweis University.
During his stay in Cuba, Prof. Béla Merkely will visit the Cardiology Institute, the Pediatric Cardiology Center, and the Havana Medical University, where he plans to sign a memorandum of understanding and hold a conference on his field of expertise.
The meeting addressed the specific arrangements for organizing the visit. All these efforts are aimed at enhancing bilateral relations in the academic and scientific fields, benefiting both countries.
