A group of 52 doctors, nurses, and administrative staff from a Swedish medical centre visited Semmelweis University on April 20, as part of a trip to Budapest to celebrate the centre’s 50th anniversary.
The medical centre, located in Malmö, fosters close scientific and professional ties with Lund University.
The visitors started their day at the University’s Heart Centre, after which they visited the 1st Department of Pathology and Experimental Cancer Research, the Inner Clinical Campus and, finally, the Central Building.
As a special treat, two Swedish students from the International Student Association of Semmelweis accompanied the guests on their tour.
