Call for Proposals for the NKKP EXCELLENCE Research Programme
The NKKP EXCELLENCE sub-programme aims to provide support for researchers preparing to participate successfully in funding schemes announced by the European Research Council (ERC).
This call targets researchers who have already demonstrated strong potential for success by submitting a high-quality proposal in response to a previous ERC call.
Eligible applicants: the Principal Investigator (PI) may apply jointly with a Host Institution that must be a legal entity based in Hungary.
Eligible Host Institutions include higher education institutions, research centres, research institutes, budgetary bodies, institutions with legal personality under a budgetary body, business enterprises maintaining double-entry bookkeeping with at least two closed financial years, or nonprofit organizations.
Principal Investigators must have previously submitted a proposal as a Principal Investigator to one of the following ERC grant schemes: Starting Grant, Consolidator Grant, Advanced Grant, or Synergy Grant.
Total funding: HUF 160 million + 25% overhead

MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship with EUniWell
EUniWell is proud to support early-career researchers through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA PF) 2025 call. This prestigious EU-funded program offers postdoctoral researchers the opportunity to conduct innovative research in an international environment, supported by excellent host institutions.
Who can apply?
Researchers holding a PhD degree at the time of the application deadline, with no more than 8 years of full-time research experience since earning their doctorate. Applicants must also comply with the EU mobility rule, meaning they must not have resided or carried out their main activity (e.g. work, studies) in the host country for more than 12 months in the 36 months prior to the the call deadline.

MTA’s Support for Mobility in Bilateral International Research Projects
The aim of the support is to assist 2-3 year international research projects implemented within the framework of the MTA’s bilateral cooperation agreements.
Eligible applicants: research institutes and research centers, with the „MTA Excellent Research Site” designation, as well as researchers employed by these research units, researchers employed by the research units of universities with the “MTA Excellent Research Site” designation, Researchers employed by companies with the “MTA Excellent Research Site” designation
Budget: a maximum of HUF 200,000 gross for travel expenses + a minimum daily allowance of HUF 10,000/day/person
