Into Change Award

The Into Change Award honours outstanding European research groups whose work drives scientific breakthroughs, benefits society, and reflects core values like curiosity, collaboration, and openness. Applications are welcome from all fields of science and research.

Eligible applicants: groups of active researchers from institutions in Europe, consisting of 2 to 8 named members

Award: the total award amount is DKK 8,000,000. Each named member of the winning research group receives DKK 100,000, the remaining funds will be distributed among the group members

Go Healthy with Taiwan

„Go Healthy with Taiwan” is a campaign which aims to build a healthier future together with Taiwan. Proposers from all sectors are encouraged to propose formulate proposals that apply products, solutions, or business models from Taiwanese enterprises to achieve the goal of enhancing health and well-being in local cities, communities, businesses, and organizations.

Eligible applicants: a member of a company, government unit, legal entity or non-legal entity groups, including research institutions, universities, public associations, etc.

Prize: each of the three best proposals will be awarded 30.000 USD

Call for Proposals for the NKKP EXCELLENCE Research Programme

The NKKP EXCELLENCE sub-programme aims to provide support for researchers preparing to participate successfully in funding schemes announced by the European Research Council (ERC).

This call targets researchers who have already demonstrated strong potential for success by submitting a high-quality proposal in response to a previous ERC call.

Eligible applicants: the Principal Investigator (PI) may apply jointly with a Host Institution that must be a legal entity based in Hungary.

Eligible Host Institutions include higher education institutions, research centres, research institutes, budgetary bodies, institutions with legal personality under a budgetary body, business enterprises maintaining double-entry bookkeeping with at least two closed financial years, or nonprofit organizations.

Principal Investigators must have previously submitted a proposal as a Principal Investigator to one of the following ERC grant schemes: Starting Grant, Consolidator Grant, Advanced Grant, or Synergy Grant.

Total funding: HUF 160 million + 25% overhead

MTA’s Support for Mobility in Bilateral International Research Projects

The aim of the support is to assist 2-3 year international research projects implemented within the framework of the MTA’s bilateral cooperation agreements.

Eligible applicants: research institutes and research centers, with the „MTA Excellent Research Site” designation, as well as researchers employed by these research units, researchers employed by the research units of universities with the “MTA Excellent Research Site” designation, Researchers employed by companies with the “MTA Excellent Research Site” designation

Budget: a maximum of HUF 200,000 gross for travel expenses + a minimum daily allowance of HUF 10,000/day/person
