Our department teaches the structure of the human body in the common discipline of anatomy, histology and embryology. Students acquire knowledge in gross anatomy by dissecting the human body, and understand contexture between structure and function by the simultaneous support of their growing embryological and histological skills. Numerous courses for both undergraduate and graduate students help those who intend to gain specific knowledge in their specific field of interest. The 130 years old venue, including a recently regenerated garden, offers a valuable and continuously renewing infrastructure and atmosphere for teaching and science alike.
