The Dentistry Research Group consists of 11 third-year and 10 fourth-year students, supported by 6 scientific-methodological and 21 clinical supervisors. Their research covers a wide range of dental fields, including maxillofacial surgery, prosthodontics, community and conservative dentistry, implantology, orthodontics, periodontology, teledentistry, cranio-maxillofacial surgery, TMJ, craniofacial developmental disorders, and digital dentistry.
Most students participate in meta-analyses, while others conduct registry analyses and prepare clinical study protocols, providing valuable insights into current issues in the field. The multidisciplinary structure enables close collaboration across the various dental specialisations, facilitating research that advances both dental practice and patient care.
