The Critical Care Research Group primarily works in the fields of anesthesiology, intensive therapy, and emergency medicine, focusing on the physiological and psychological parameters of patients treated in these areas.

The group is led by Zsolt Molnár, Director of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy at Semmelweis University, and László Zubek, Deputy Director of the same clinic—both longtime collaborators of the CTM.

The research is carried out by 9 students, including 2 MD–PhD candidates, all with extensive clinical backgrounds.

The team of supervisors and experts is bolstered by Szabolcs Kéri (Rector of Tokaj-Hegyalja University), Ákos Csomós (Director of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy at the Military Hospital), and Endre Zima (Director of the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Patient Care at Semmelweis University).

The group’s work is supported by two scientific-methodological supervisors, Dávid Laczkó and Caner Turan, along with biostatistician Szilvia Kiss-Dala.
