The Cardiology–Intensive Therapy (Cardio-Intensive) Research Group is composed of 12 motivated students, led by cardiologist Gábor Duray and intensive care specialist Zsolt Molnár—both long-standing, renowned researchers and collaborators at the Center for Translational Medicine.

The team is further strengthened by 12 supervisors, including 2 junior supervisors who are currently in their second or third PhD year at the center. Scientific and methodological oversight is provided by Caner Turan.

The group’s multidisciplinary structure enables vibrant cross-disciplinary discussions encompassing cardiology, intensive therapy, anesthesiology, pulmonology, rheumatology, and interventional radiology, fostering productive professional dialogue.

Students conduct systematic literature searches and develop protocols for various major clinical trials, thereby supporting evidence-based patient care.
