The Critical Care Research Group primarily focuses on anesthesiology, intensive therapy, and emergency medicine, as well as the investigation of patients’ physiological and psychological parameters. The group is led by Zsolt Molnár, Director of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy at Semmelweis University, and his Deputy Director, László Zubek, working with nine students – including two MD–PhD candidates.
The research is supervised by Szabolcs Kéri (Rector of Tokaj-Hegyalja University), Ákos Csomós (Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Therapy at the Hungarian Defence Forces Military Hospital), and Endre Zima (Director of the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Care at Semmelweis University). Methodological support is provided by Dávid Laczkó and Caner Turan (SMS), while statistical analyses are carried out by biostatistician Szilvia Kiss-Dala.
