FACULTY OF MEDICINE
Small groups and a practice-oriented approach are cornerstones of the training at the Faculty of Medicine, the oldest and largest faculty of Semmelweis University. The institution is in the top 1 % of the world’s medical schools owing to its accomplishments in both teaching and research. FACULTY OF DENTISTRY
The Faculty of Dentistry at Semmelweis is the first and largest one in the field. It boasts a high percentage of educators with academic rank. The Faculty offers world-renowned quality training and provides patients with modern equipment and highly trained professionals. The Faculty of Dentistry offers internationally acclaimed training programs in Hungarian, English, and German languages.
FACULTY OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES
The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences is well known for its outstanding teaching, research, and scientific activities in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. It is the only pharmaceutical faculty in the world offering education in two foreign languages: English, and German. The Departments of the Faculty carry out significant research, and the students, who study in Hungarian, English, or German, are among the best-prepared and most sought-after professionals. In addition, the training prepares them as much as possible for the new challenges of the pharmaceutical industry of the far future.
FACULTY OF HEALTH SCIENCES
The Faculty of Health Sciences is the second largest faculty at Semmelweis University, offering one of the broadest ranges of health sciences education in the Central European region. All of its programs meet international standards and the educational requirements of the Hungarian Accreditation Committee. In recent decades, one of the most dynamically developing aspects of the Faculty has been its increasingly diverse activities in the field of international scientific and educational cooperation.

The Faculty of Health and Public Administration is recognized as a leading institution in Europe. The Faculty has dedicated experts in health policy, health security, cybersecurity, patient safety, public health, human resource planning, change management, data-driven health, e-health, and social care. The Faculty is a key player in major research, national and international collaborations.
ANDRÁS PETŐ FACULTY
The András Pető Faculty is the international knowledge and resource centre of conductive education for the whole world.
The purpose of the unique Pető method is to provide assistance to children and young adults with motor disabilities originating from damage to the central nervous system. The András Pető Faculty provides modern, practice-oriented training for trainers in Hungarian and English, and also implements adult education programs in the spirit of integrity and completeness, both nationally and internationally.
