For new, not yet accredited supervisors, the following documents are required for acceptance:
- The supervisor’s professional CV
- Publication list (if they do not have an MTMT identifier)
- Brief of research topic
- Proposal for supervisor acceptance
If a previously accredited supervisor wishes to announce a new topic, they only have a reporting obligation to the Doctoral Divisions before the start of the semesters (deadlines: 30 November, 31 March), and no new accreditation procedure is required.
It is desirable for a supervisor to be involved in only one Doctoral Division; however, if justified, it is possible to be active in multiple divisions. In this case, “reporting” is not sufficient, and approval from the head of the respective Doctoral Division is required.
- Based on the Doctoral Regulations, the EDT decides on the accreditation of the supervisor / conditional accreditation / rejection at its meeting.
- We inform prospective supervisors that after the acceptance decision, the Doctoral Office will create the profile on the doctoral.hu website (ODT database), which supervisors must fully complete.
- Detailed instructions for filling out the profile can be found on the ODT website at the following link:
https://doktori.hu/index.php?menuid=351&cid=211&lang=EN
All attached documents should be sent electronically to Anita Marosfalvi, marosfalvi.anita@semmelweis.hu.
The applicant will receive written notification from the Doctoral Office within 5 working days about the acceptance of the application and the expected date of the decision.
When the EDT decision is uploaded to the doctoral school’s website, the applicant will be notified of the decision.
