Research focus:

oligonucleotide (e.g. microRNA) related research and development projects

Requirements:
  • MD, PharmD, DVM, or MSc in biology or other relevant natural sciences
  • advanced proficiency of spoken and written English
  • IT skills (MS Office, scientific databases, etc.)
  • Participation in R&D project planning and quality management
  • Participation in the planning, organization, management, and execution of in vitro and in vivo experiments
  • Scientific writing (publications, patents, report, grant applications)
  • Ability to work in a group as well as ability to solve scientific problems alone
  • Excellent communication skills (participation in scientific conferences, internal meetings)
Additional skills taken into account positively:
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • PhD degree
  • International publication record
  • Experience with some of the following methodologies: Western-blot, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, immunohistochemistry, qRT-PCR, CRISPR/CAS9, cell culture and in vivo experiments
  • Experience in the field of molecular biology especially gene expression, gene silencing, non-coding RNA, deep sequencing technologies, oligonucleotide chemistry
  • Second language besides English, especially Hungarian or German
