The Translational Medicine Center’s TDK program offers research opportunities for medical students and those in health sciences. The program is committed to providing hands-on scientific experience even at the student level. Its goal is for participants to gain experience during their studies in the practice of bridging research and clinical care and to prepare for a scientific career – including doctoral (PhD) training.

Participation requirements

1. Language skills

• Minimum B2 level English for the international environment and project communication

2. Participation expectations

Progress reports: mandatory every 3 months

Group meetings: recommended; 50% attendance required for outstanding performance

Project meetings: 50% attendance for co-authorship; 75% for top results

Lectures: not mandatory but strongly encouraged – take the opportunity!

Meta-analysis e-course: successful completion mandatory for all participants

Monthly follow-up: regular status questionnaire completion is compulsory
