Project Description:
Tamás Fazekas is a resident in urology. His PhD and main research areas are molecular markers of prostate and urothelial cancers. His first and second meta-analysis compares the different treatment options in BRCA positive metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. These studies aim to optimize the therapeutic decisionmaking in BRCA positive patients. In his third project, he will perform a multicentric retrospective analysis of immune checkpoint inhibitor therapy of bladder tumors. In line with this, Tamás will establish a prospective registry of prostate and bladder cancer.
