The purpose of the PhD Scientific Days is to provide an opportunity to present doctoral research results, at the same time to develop presentation skills and presentation techniques, as well as a good opportunity to make connections and get to know the work of other PhD students. The conference is usually organized once a year in July by the Doctoral School, the Doctoral Office and the Doctorandus Student Union.
The interest in the two-day conference is outstanding every year, which is clearly demonstrated by the large number of lectures and poster presentations. The participants of the event can be part of the multidisciplinary army view of scientific work, since the multitude of scientific fields and branches of science are presented through the reports of PhD students and doctoral candidates active in the various scientific workshops of the university. At the event, which also prepares for international conferences, participants can listen to lectures in around 40 sections covering the broad vertical of medicine. The presentations are evaluated by committees delegated from the Doctoral School’s 11 departments, and the winners receive a certificate and a reward.
In recent years, the location of the event has been the EOK (Budapest, Tűzoltó utca 37-47).The web interface of the given year’s conference is usually launched in May, and the news about it is published by the Doctoral School in News. Abstracts can be uploaded via the conference website. The program is available online in the form of an abstract booklet.
