Hospital Expertise for the Comfort of Home

For most families, one of the most important goals is for their child to remain in their own bed, surrounded by the people they love. Our outpatient care is designed to support this goal by combining clinical expertise with the security and comfort of home – so families do not have to choose between the two.

A visit to our outpatient clinic is not a routine medical appointment. It is a meeting where we take the time to address every question and concern – and where the focus is not on the administrative aspects of the illness, but on the child and their family.

How We Help at the Clinic

Personalised Pain Management

We continuously monitor and adjust medications based on the child’s current condition, always with as few side effects as possible.

Monitoring and Planning Ahead

We discuss what has happened since the previous visit, what challenges the family has faced, and what they may expect in the future. Being well informed can provide an important sense of security.

Nutritional and Respiratory Support

Working closely with our dietitians and physiotherapists, we help maintain physical comfort and preserve the child’s strength for everyday life.

Emotional Presence During the Visit Too

Our psychologists are also available during outpatient appointments to support both children and their parents. Coping with a difficult diagnosis is never solely a medical matter.

How to Book an Appointment

Appointments at our clinic are by prior arrangement, preferably through the family’s primary treating doctor. During the first visit, we take the time to develop a detailed understanding of the child’s condition and circumstances. We then work together with the family to create a care plan tailored to the child’s individual needs.
