Grant Monitoring and Advisory Services:

  • Continuous monitoring of calls for proposals relevant to Semmelweis University (both national and international),
  • exploring new funding opportunities,
  • Verification of project ideas proposed by applicants,
  • Grant advisory services tailored to individual researchers or research topics, upon request.

Preparation of Newsletter on the Latest Calls for Proposals

Grant Portfolio Management:

  • Creation of databases and reports on submitted and awarded projects based on the University’s Grant Policy,
  • Monitoring of ongoing funded projects.

Administrative Support for Proposal Submission and Contracting:

  • Administrative support for proposal submissions handled by the University, in line with the University’s Grant Policy or other applicable internal/external regulations,
  • Project support during the sustainability period, including assistance with the preparation of sustainability reports, their electronic submission, or support with related data provision.

Project Management:

  • Participation in project management for strategic university RDI (Research, Development, and Innovation) projects, in collaboration with project leaders, including follow-up on project outcomes by our specialists;
  • Professional support for the University’s representation during audits, monitoring visits, and site inspections,
  • Development, updating, and review of the University’s consortium participation procedures (Consortium Policy), as needed.

Within the framework of project management activities:

  1. Coordination of the preparation and review of submissions, regulatory drafts, and template documents falling within the competence of the PMK, and, based on the authorization of the Chief Operating Officer, representation of the PMK (Director) during internal and external consultations related to these materials.
  2. Preparation of briefing materials for the University’s leadership with involvement of PMK specialists.
  3. Coordination of tasks related to the development of the University’s innovation ecosystem (especially the establishment of the University’s Science and Innovation Park), and the creation of regional innovation platforms.
  4. Development, management, and oversight of PMK’s internal administrative processes (including secretarial tasks, document management, internal coordination procedures, organization of leadership events, maintenance of secretarial records, etc.) for high-priority projects.

Support for Grant Administration:

  • Obtaining the required university-level approvals and permits and forwarding them to the applicant.

Grant Registry System (PNYR):

  • Participation in the operation, management, and oversight of the Grant Registry System,
  • Entering funding opportunities into the System,
  • Supporting the University’s overall grant system under the supervision of the Directorate for Grant and RDI Network Management.
  • Providing user-level support for the operation and development of the Grant Registry System.

Data Provision:

  • Coordination of the university-wide registry of horizontal commitments, collection of up-to-date data, and provision of information for reports and audits.
