Our research covers a wide range of areas, including cell biology, immunology, molecular biology and oncobiology. The Institute is internationally recognised for its research into extracellular vesicles.
The Institute is equipped with a transgenic animal facility, tissue culture laboratories, bacterial laboratories, virology laboratories and flow cytometry equipment, as well as magnetic and fluorescent cell sorters suitable for cell sorting. The Institute operates a transmission electron microscope and a Flow Cytometry Core Facility. An Extracellular Vesicle Research, Service and Reference Laboratory is also under development.
