In order to achieve its objectives, the foundation carries out the following activities:
- providing financial and moral support for research programmes and groups;
- awarding scholarships to young researchers working in the field;
- supporting participation in domestic and international conferences;
- supporting the publication of academic papers;
- providing funding for the purchase of specialist books and journals;
- carrying out educational and public awareness activities;
- establishing cooperation with foreign institutions and organising study visits abroad;
- organising conferences and developing grant schemes;
- conducting health education and public awareness activities based on research into inflammation biology and epigenetics.
