PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME
Starting from June 1, 2024, the Pannónia Scholarship Programme offers short-term mobility as well as long-term mobility opportunities to the students, teachers and employees of the university in order to study, do research, teach or do a traineeship abroad with the help of programme support. The opportunities are offered within and outside of Europe, almost in every country.
The purpose of the Pannónia Scholarship Programme is to support the internationalization efforts of Hungarian higher-education institutions as well as the implementation of high-quality mobilities. This way the Hungarian higher-education system may preserve its competitiveness and the students, teachers and employees of the university may have a study-abroad opportunity almost anywhere around the world.
WHAT SORT OF ACTIVITIES DOES THE PROGRAMME SUPPORT?
The Pannónia Scholarship Programme provides an opportunity for mobilities for the students, teachers and employees of universities alike.

Student mobilities can be fulfilled in any field of study, also in any educational cycle, including doctoral training. The time period spent abroad must be embedded within the educational programme of the student, except for traineeship for recent graduates.

Any employee of a higher-education institution, who is employed by the university/who has an active employment relationship with the university, is able to apply for a staff mobility opportunity. Mobility activities should be related to the professional development of the given employee.

THE WHOLE WORLD IS OPEN TO YOU
It is not only possible to travel within Europe in the framework of the Pannónia Scholarship Programme: almost any country in the world may become a destination; Asia, America or even Africa, too. This opportunity is enabled by a scholarship fund that covers the significant part of living expenses abroad, therefore the scholarship holder would have time for a professional development and gaining experience.

HOW MUCH IS THE SCHOLARSHIP GRANT AMOUNT?
The scholarship grant amount varies depending on the destination country and the type of mobility, furthermore it may contain additional payments such as tuition compensation, equal opportunity benefit or social benefits.
