Our goal is your health improvement. The personal counselling allows us to assess your health status and devise a complex health plan tailored to your needs. This may include dietary recommendations and plans, opportunities to consult certified nutritionists, and individual or group exercise programs. The counselling is free for Semmelweis students and employees.

The counselling is conducted by certified nutritionists; appointments are available on the online registration platform.

Initial counselling:

The first consultation is dedicated to assessing your current health status and dietary habits, discussing your daily routine, and mapping key factors of your lifestyle. We then devise your personal health plan, setting goals and commitments that you can accomplish in your own living space and environment in the following period. The first consultation takes one hour.

During the first consultation we provide you with an opportunity for professional body composition analysis using an InBody 270 device. The device is available to participants on the ground floor of the Basic Medical Science Center (EOK) in Counselling Room 808.

An assessment form and a 3-day dietary diary need to be filled in before the first consultation.

Control counselling:

Based on intervals outlined in the health plan, we arrange appointments to discuss your progress and potential questions.

Consultation with a dietitian is recommended for those with questions regarding a specific medical condition that requires nutritional support.

Important information:

Currently, we are only able to provide free lifestyle counselling to students and employees of Semmelweis University, but if you are not a university citizen but would like to get involved, we welcome you to our group exercise programs.
