The “Meet the Alumni” series provides Semmelweis students, especially those in international programmes, with a valuable opportunity to learn from the professional experiences of distinguished alumni and to gain inspiration for their own career development.
The first lecture of the series, “Work in the UK” by Dr. Loucas Christodoulou (consultant pediatrician, NHS, Semmelweis Alumni), highlighted career opportunities in the United Kingdom.
In this lecture, Dr. Karlsen will share his unique professional journey, tracing his path from medical studies at Semmelweis University to clinical practice in anesthesia, and his transition into leadership in public administration. Participants will gain first-hand insight into:
