On the occasion of Semmelweis University’s 40th Anniversary of international medical education, the most successful Semmelweis Student event of all time, the Semmelweis Summer University will take place between 1-2 September as an international event, with parallel sessions in Hungarian and English at the Basic Medical Science Center. All Hungarian and international students are welcome to attend the event free of charge and can earn one credit per day, provided that they register for the course in Neptun and verify their presence via the QR-code system during the event.
Launched in 2019 to celebrate the 250th anniversary of Semmelweis University, the Summer University is a traditional and lively start to each academic year. In 2022, this popular event will be held in an international form for the very first time, welcoming all international and Hungarian students to celebrate together the 40 years of international education and enjoy a wide variety of professional & scientific lectures, and entertainment programs.
