She is young, dynamic, incredibly kind, and with her perseverance, she is able to encourage others to actively participate in community events. She personally attended all group meetings in order to recruit participants. Zsanett Sófalvi was honored with the Excellent Staff Member Award by the Centre for Translational Medicine.

Zsanett Sófalvi joined CTM’s Directorate for Proposals, Communication and Network Development in February this year and has been providing valuable services as Communications Coordinator. She is an exceptionally flexible and positive colleague whose creativity and teamwork contribute greatly to CTM’s community-building activities. As a member of the diverse community of Semmelweis University, Zsanett believes that communication serves not only to share information but also to connect people.

Beyond online channels, she and her colleagues organize monthly social events that allow students and staff to meet outside the classroom, build relationships, and strengthen their sense of belonging. In September, she organized the CTM Skill Cup, where participants could enjoy friendly competitions in table football and darts. In October, they held a Halloween party, in November they began preparing for Advent, and in December CTM employees will gather for a Christmas dinner.

In September, she also assisted in organizing the MSc graduation ceremony, and earlier, during the thesis defenses and final examinations, she took notes and supported the Secretariat’s administrative processes. As part of this, she has repeatedly substituted for Réka Kaltenecker during her absence and played an active role in preparing student contracts.
