SEMMELWEIS UNIVERSITY, DEPARTMENT OF ORTHOPAEDICS

Number of meta-analyses: 2

Project Description:

Mátyás is an orthopedic resident at the Department of Orthopedics, Semmelweis University, and is interested in the rehabilitation of cerebral palsy patients. His first project is a systematic review and meta-analysis on robot-assisted gait training for children with cerebral palsy, and its effect on gross motor function. The results of his study could assist in better treatment decisions to improve gait function in this group of patients. His second project will be a meta-analysis on video-game-based therapy and its effects on upper limb function in children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy. This study could have the same clinical implication as to the first one on upper extremity function.
