Project Description:
Emese started her PhD studies in the field of Rheumatology in September 2021. Her research topic is biomarkers in clinical use for rheumatologic diseases. She plans to perform two meta-analyses on the topic. She started to work on her first meta-analyses; the idea is to find biomarkers that could differentiate psoriatic arthritis patients among psoriatic patients. Arthritis psoriatic is a well-known differential diagnostic challenge, and this patient population often remains undiagnosed. Early diagnosis of these patients could help prevent their joint destruction and maintain their quality of life. She wants to effectively implement the latest findings in the clinical field using this meta-analysis.
