OVERVIEW

The course provides theoretical basis of NMR spectroscopy, detailed discussion of chemical shift, coupling constants, relaxation, 1D and 2D NMR techniques and their application in structure elucidation.

In the practical part row NMR data (1D and 2D) will be processed and real structural problems will be solved.

The course is a combined of 70 % theoretical part and 30 %t practical part.

Participants are asked to bring their own notebooks to the course.

Applicants are required to pay a registration fee before the course.

Registration fee: 50 EUR

Participants’ limitation: min. 5 – max. 10

Learning objectives

After completing the course participants will be able to:

  • process and analyze 1D and 2D NMR experiments
  • and will be capable to elucidate the structures of small molecules by NMR.
