OVERVIEW
Emergency Nursing Course offers highly professional theoretical courses, site visits and cultural programs.
The course provides valuable insight into nursing leadership and management science as well as into the history of Hungary in the socio-cultural aspect and higher education in the European Union and Hungary.
The participants will learn about the health issues in Hungary, the point of Care Technology in Emergency Services, Evidence-based Medicine and Nursing, and General Aspects of Emergency and Critical Care. An introduction to clinical and field internships is the core of the course. The entrants will acquire precious knowledge of Cardiovascular Services in Hungary and pulmonary Emergencies.
Core topics of the course: visits to the Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department, Neurological Emergencies, Cardiovascular patient training, Cardiovascular patient training, Abdominal Emergencies, Trauma Emergencies, Neonatal and Pediatric Emergencies, teaching with Simulation, Clinical Practice in Small Groups, Endocrine and Metabolic Crises, students’ project work.
The course is composed of 50 % theoretical part and 50 % practical part.
