OVERVIEW

The Semmelweis Train The Trainer Program is provided and organized by an expert team (CEDMO) of Semmelweis University.
The Center of Educational Development, Methodology and Organization of the University aims to improve higher education through teaching and supporting teachers and educators.

The Train The Trainer Program provides valuable insight into modern educational methodologies and e-learning techniques. It makes participants possible to achieve a comprehensive understanding of the core concepts of teaching and learning in Health Professionals’ Education.

Main topics of the program:

  • Trends in Curriculum and educational strategies
  • Small Group teaching and large group Teaching
  • E-learning and technology in health professions education (Moodle, online resources, streaming)
  • Gamification, H5P and the use of information and communication technologies
  • Assessments (MCQ, OSCE etc.)
  • Educational environment and Quality Assurance
  • Preclinical or clinical teaching in practice (based on participant’s preference)
  • The role and opportunities of artificial intelligence in Health Professions Education
  • The role of feedback in health professions education

Target audience

The course is designed for University teachers and educators in medical and health sciences or other related fields.
Good English communication skills are required. (advanced or proficiency level)

Applicants are required to pay a registration fee before the course.

Registration fee: 150 USD

Participants’ limitation: min. 12 – max. 30

The tuition fee includes the overall costs of the study program. The tuition fee does not include travel, accommodation, medical insurance, catering and other personal living costs during the Program.
