OVERVIEW
The course covers the topic of rubber dam isolation with all the difficulties clinicians can face during isolation of the working field. We will focus on everyday Prosthodontic procedures, like cementation of onlays, crowns and bridges. During the course the cementation of fiberposts and core build-up will be discussed.
The following topics will be covered during the theoretical session:
- indications of rubber dam
- the 12-step-technique
- shopping list for effective isolation technique
- instant solutions for different clinical situations
The hands-on session will ensure the possibility to transfer freshly gained knowledge to practice by training on lifelike torsos, without the stress of a living patient.
The course is composed of 30 % theoretical part and 70 % practical part.
The course is open to Dental Professionals (Doctors of Medicine in Dentistry).
Applicants are required to pay a registration fee before the course.

Can’t find the right clamp? Rubber dam keeps leaking? Constant overlapping of rubber makes cementation impossible?
If you face any of these problems in your daily practice, this is a course for you. After this day, participants should be able to manage rubber dam isolation in any kind of clinical situation.
Partially edentulous jaw, deep margins, radices, even ectopic teeth or rubber dam isolation for Class V cavities can be handled by some of the tips and tricks shared during the course.
Our aim is to increase the number of fanatic rubber dam users among dentists, because we believe this is a way to ensure better patient care.
