Overview

The Clinical Study Tour program provides valuable insight into professional fields and patient care at different departments of Semmelweis University.

Students are divided into groups (a maximum of 5 persons each) and spend at least 2 days at certain clinical departments of Semmelweis University on a rotation basis for two weeks.

The daily schedule includes lectures, case discussions, bedside practices, visits to the core units of the department, and individual consultation opportunities, where specific questions of the participating students will be answered.

During the whole program, students will be guided by a dedicated expert of the given clinical departments. This program is perfect for medical experts with less experience to get to know different fields of healthcare. 

The program is available for individuals and groups aswell.

Target Audience

Undergraduate and postgraduate students in medical and health sciences, medical experts with less experience. 

Medical requirements

Complete blood count (CBC) + urine sample (not older than 3 months), Hepatitis B antibody titer + Hepatitis C antibody titer, Stool bacteriology (specifically for E.coli) (not older than 1 month), VDRL (Lues) Serology for Treponema Palladium (not older than 1 month), Chest X-ray (written report, not older than a year)
