At the Pediatric Center of Semmelweis University, we know that healing is about much more than treating an illness. The Palliative and Comfort Care Unit was established to ensure that children living with serious, chronic or life-limiting conditions – and the people who love them – never feel that they are alone.
Our focus is not the diagnosis, but the child, and the quality of their everyday life. Our expert team works to relieve physical pain, support emotional well-being, and help every family share dignified moments together, even during the most difficult times.
