Semmelweis University is not only the oldest medical school in Hungary and one of the largest healthcare providers, but also one of the most important English and German language training institutions in Europe. One third of its students follow the international curriculum, with students coming from over a hundred countries around the world.

The Center of International Training Programs is responsible for managing tasks relating to the studies of international students, managing in cooperation with the faculties of the University the operational matters concerning international students and coordinating the organization of training programs in foreign languages.
