Call for Applications: Board Member for the International Mentoring
Program

The Institute of Behavioural Sciences at Semmelweis University invites applications for the position of Board Members in the International Mentoring Program for the academic year 2026-2027. This prestigious role offers an opportunity to actively contribute to the management, coordination, and enhancement of the mentoring program, providing support to both mentors and mentees across the English and German program.

Position Overview
Board members will play a key role in overseeing administrative, organizational, and communication duties within the mentoring program. Responsibilities include coordinating group activities, ensuring smooth communication between mentors and mentees, and contributing to program development. The term of the position is one year (covering two semesters), and three positions are available for the English program and one position for the German program.

Conditions for the Submission of the Application
The grant and board member position may be awarded to full-time students at Semmelweis University who meet the following criteria:
a. Must be enrolled in the 4th year or higher of the medical program.
b. Have a minimum GPA of 4.00 in the last two semesters (preferred but not
mandatory).
c. Are not, and have not been, the subject of any disciplinary sanction.
d. Must have completed at least a year of mentoring elective course.
e. Must be proficient in English (both written and spoken) for effective
communication with international participants.
f. Demonstrate proficiency in using Google applications (Gmail, Google
Drive, Google Sheets) and other relevant administrative tools.
g. Must have the availability to conduct interviews with potential mentor
candidates during the summer and academic year and actively participate
in the mentor-mentee matching process.
