Within WP4: Twinning group actions in whole genome analysis of Pseudomonas aeruginosa a mentoring course was executed in person at IdISba (Spain) between the 1st of May to the 31st of May. A staff of 3: 1 person from BFM, 2 people from SU attended it. They learnt about Ubuntu: how to write command lines, what is a script and how to run them, what are the basics of the analysis of NGS data and how to use the variant calling pipeline to identify SNPs and indel’s. Finally they visited the lab to see DNA extraction, library preparation and the sequencing itself. The mentors and the mentored will keep in touch and hold monthly online meetings to continue to work together. One catch-up meeting was already held in June.
