Requirements:
- being a medical student
- having fully completed the first two years of university
- completing the application process (see below)
Steps of application:
- Filling out our application Form
- Writing us an e-mail with the attached Motivational Letter and CV
- Participating in an interview
- Applying for the elective course (via Neptun)
What you can get from the Program? Why should you apply?
- to help your Mentee through the periods when you particularly would have needed assistance
- to pass on all of the things that you learn about Hungary and the university
- to learn about Freshers’ struggles coming from another country
- to practice communication, empathy, guidance and other skills that you cannot use during the obligatory courses
- to deepen your knowledge about time/stress management and study skills
- 2×2 credits for the whole year
What do we expect from you?
- openness and proactivity
- having continuous contact with your Mentees and being available to them (of course, within certain limitations), and having in-person meetings as well
- participating in the training, lectures, and supervision
- filling out the Mentor Logbook
- commitment for one academic year
- filling out the necessary questionnaires
